M. R. Gopakumar

M.R. Gopakumar is an Indian movietelevision actor who has established himself through a long career in Malayalam plays, movies and telefilms. In his career spanning over more than four decades, Gopakumar has proved his skills through a wide variety of roles that he played in every form of acting.

M.R. Gopakumar was born onSeptember 1951 in Thiruvattar, a small village in the Kanyakumari district of the presentday Tamil Nadu, but a part of the erstwhile Travancore Kingdom and ThiruKochi state . He was born as the elder son of N. Ramakrishnan Nair, a school teacher in Thiruvattar High School, and B. Kamalabai Amma.
